Looking back, I have no clue why I made this project. I knew that I would be going to college for journalism, not film, and I had not yet conceived of the video projects I had been shooting since I was twelve years old as anything more than fun little hobby projects. I wasn’t planning on building to a career and I wasn’t trying to hone my craft, I was just texting an old friend and asking if I could make a video about her dancing. It ended up working out well for the both of us – this short showed at a dance recital she put on to help pay for her freshman year of college – and I got to work the sound board, which helped cover for my poor mixing.
